Fats and oils are important energy sources in animal diets due to their high energy value and energy density. The amount of energy that animals can receive from dietary fat mainly depends on the digestibility of the fat. Fat digestibility is considerably reduced when emulsifying molecules like bile salts are absent.

What is Unisifier 484 Dry?

Unisifier 484 Dry is a non-ionic, water soluble emulsifier product in powder form, for application in dry feed and drink milks for young animals or premixes/ingredients thereof.

It is a hydrophilic emulsifying molecule, developed to support bile salts in fat digestion. Bile salts hydrophilic amphipathic molecules are essential and their rate are limiting for fat digestion, which are the major energy & cost contributor to diets and poor fat digestion can lead to severe digestive issues & decreased animal performance.
